St Joseph’s School is part of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish known as St Mary's Parish, Chiltern. St Mary’s gradually evolved around the time of the discovery of gold around Chiltern and once established has continued to be a strong Catholic presence in the area. St Mary's Parish Church is situated beside the school and is administered by Fr. Brian Carey, Parish Priest of St Mary's Rutherglen.
