St Joseph’s Chiltern is a CHILD SAFE school.
We value, respect and empower all our students to be safe.
St Joseph’s is a vibrant and inclusive community where our children are encouraged to live out our motto of Living, Loving, Learning. We look forward to working with you and your family in our welcoming community, where the staff are committed to providing the best possible environment for your child to flourish.
We are a small Catholic Primary School and the size of our school allows staff to know each child both as a person and a learner. Our small class sizes and unique facilities enables us to offer an all encompassing education with the capacity to meet the needs of each child.
Dear Parents, Carers and Friends,
What a wonderful day we had yesterday at the Cross Country. A big thank you to all the parents that were able to join us and help on the day. The students need to be congratulated on the effort they put in and to Luke Ellis for organising the event. This year the course was set through the bush at the back of the school and proved to be very successful. St Mary’s Rutherglen and their families joined us, in what is always a very enjoyable event.
COVID is again doing the rounds and as with any illness we follow the same protocols to contain the spread. If your child is unwell or has flu-like symptoms, they must stay home and rest. It is important that as a whole community we strive to uphold the health and wellbeing of one another. I thank you all for your support on this.
This week we farewell Charlie Smith and her family and wish them well. Craig, Chantel, Charlie and Olivia are moving back to Mildura to further their business and move closer to family.
We pray for several school families and Father Carey who are currently struggling with illness, it is a difficult time for them all and we hope that our loving God will help them all at his difficult time.
Thank you again for your continued partnership. Please take note of the dates on the following page.
