St Joseph’s Chiltern is a CHILD SAFE school.
We value, respect and empower all our students to be safe.
St Joseph’s is a vibrant and inclusive community where our children are encouraged to live out our motto of Loving, Living, Living. We look forward to working with you and your family in our welcoming community, where the staff are committed to providing the best possible environment for your child to flourish.
We are a small Catholic Primary School and the size of our school allows staff to know each child both as a person and a learner. Our small class sizes and unique facilities enables us to offer an all encompassing education with the capacity to meet the needs of each child.
Dear Parents & Friends,
We were thrilled to have you all back in the school and classrooms last week. The students were very excited to present their learning achievements and future goals to you, with their class teacher.
Thank you to all the special visitors that came along to our celebration last Friday. There was such a positive vibe in the classrooms and an opportunity to reconnect with each other at the morning tea. We are hoping to having some more opportunities to come and see learning very soon. The students in Year 3 & 5 have now completed their Naplan tests for 2022.
This year majority of it was online which was very different to previous years. Well done to all!
The weather was perfect for our Combined Cross Country yesterday at the Chiltern Football oval. I was so proud of all the students who tried their best and had a go at completing their race. Thank you to the parents that came along to cheer them along. A big thank you to Mr Ellis for his organization of the event!
A reminder that next Friday May 27th is a pupil free day, as the teachers will be off-site for Professional Learning.
Have a great week.
