St Joseph’s Chiltern is a CHILD SAFE school.
We value, respect and empower all our students to be safe.
St Joseph’s is a vibrant and inclusive community where our children are encouraged to live out our motto of Loving, Living, Living. We look forward to working with you and your family in our welcoming community, where the staff are committed to providing the best possible environment for your child to flourish.
We are a small Catholic Primary School and the size of our school allows staff to know each child both as a person and a learner. Our small class sizes and unique facilities enables us to offer an all encompassing education with the capacity to meet the needs of each child.
Last week three of our senior students Digby, Braydan and Bella walked done with Mr G to lay a wreath at Chiltern Memorial for Remembrance day. We had a short liturgy on Friday to remember all those who have served and given their lives for our wonderful country Australia.
Today we welcomed all our Grandparents, older friends and parents to a special assembly, classroom walk and morning tea. The students loved this opportunity to share their school and their learning. Thank you to everyone that came along.
Yesterday Miss Hill, Foundation Year 1 & 2 went on a History walk and visit to the Lake House in Chiltern. This is an opportunity to explore our local area and find out more about it. We express our gratitude to Faye Lappin and Annie Roberts for their time and for helping us to make an interesting day.
A reminder to our Year 6 families that we will be having a transition panel with past students, on Wednesday November 30th giving an insight into your move into secondary school. Thank you
