The mental health and wellbeing of our students, staff and families is of great importance at St Joseph’s. Consequently we provide learning opportunities throughout the year for our community to think about their wellbeing and highlight its importance with our annual Wellbeing Week.
At St Joseph’s we use the framework and Philosophy of the RRRR (Rights, Resilience and Respectful Relationships) and PBIS (Positive Behaviours In Schools) to guide our provision of social and emotional learning in our community. Throughout the year the students have specific lessons in the area of Social and Emotional Learning (S.E.L.) which address issues such as resilience; respectful relationships; bullying; tolerance; courtesy; inclusion of others; service to others; determination.
