The Scriptures and the social teaching of the Church call people and governments to work for peace, justice and the promotion of the common good of society.
An awareness and opportunities are created for students to understand their responsibility to look after their brothers and sisters who live a less privileged life, locally and all over the world.
Students are actively involved in Project Compassion, the annual appeal of the Church around the world, during Lent each year. Awareness is raised and students organise activities for fund raising to support many programs fostering self-development programs within communities in Australia and overseas.
Such activities include: Pancake Tuesday, Caritas K's - a sponsored fun run/ride, Casual Clothes Day and Just Leadership Training for students.
The students also raise funds for their sponsor child. The children learn that their empathy and actions can change the life opportunities for a child, like them, and their family.
